Design Assignment 12: War of the Roses

The rose assignment served as an important lesson to the students who learnt to pay attention to the demands of text and the audience simultaneously, working with limited resources.

This is the brief that was provided to them:

Each of you will be given the picture of a rose and a cover brief which you must execute using only the image you have been provided. Each title contains the word rose, but the genres range from pulp fiction to poetry to literature in translation to gardening. Pay particular attention to your genre, to your target audience and to the image supplied by the ‘author’.
